We have an opportunity in our Ho Chi Minh City Head office for a Senior Associate to join our Interior Design team. In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with our Interior Design Team to lead our growing team. You will be responsible for promoting design excellence on all interiors projects by providing leadership in design, practice management, business development, and staff development.

In this role, you will have a leadership role in the following areas:

Design Leadership:

  • Develop innovative design concepts which are practical, aesthetically appealing, and meet functional goals within the project budget; provide design direction.
  • Oversee project teams in the conceptual design stage, providing guidance from vision through design implementation; ensure design intent is graphically presented to clients in a clear and compelling way
  • Keep abreast of design trends as well as new products and technology; be considered a thought-leader in design by continually educating yourself and others
  • Foster an ongoing dialogue within the Interiors team on design including philosophy, approach, and processes
  • Lead and inspire design teams to create and deliver “A Level” design on projects and continually improve the caliber of design

Project Management

  • Manage the interior design component of concurrent projects, both stand-alone and integrated.
  • Provide leadership and take responsibility for all aspects of project delivery including coordination of design, production, quality, and aesthetics of the project.
  • Partner with clients through the strategic planning, client programming, and needs analysis phases of projects
  • Perform quality control for all project presentation outputs and documentation
  • Successfully manage client relationships: use well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate with clients on complex topics

Business Development:

  • Work with the Interior Design Team to develop and execute the marketing strategy for the AK Interiors practice.
  • Champion RFP submissions, develop fee proposals, attend pitches.
  • Through having a well-respected presence in the interior design community, be “in the know” regarding business opportunities and increase AK Interiors’s potential of being sought out for new projects.
  • Build and maintain client relationships through consistently meeting program and budget requirements.

Staff Development:

  • Take an active role in employee development through leading, coaching, mentoring, and motivating staff.
  • Prepare, deliver, and ensure completion of staff evaluations.
  • Develop the next generation of interior design experience at AK Interiors.
  • Participate in interviews and recruiting professional staffs.
  • Foster an environment of mutual respect and trust among the Interior Design team as it grows and develops.
  • Encourage staff exploration and innovation to achieve project design excellence and continual improvement of design ideas.

Here’s what you bring to AK Interiors:

  • Interior Design or Architectural qualification.
  • Minimum of 10 years post qualification experience
  • A minimum of 05 years specialist Workplace design experience.
  • Capable of providing creative design solutions specific to each Client.
  • Creative thinker, conceptual design expertise, strong technical knowledge, knowledge of furniture systems, current knowledge of Workplace Strategy concepts, and construction administration experience.
  • Able to work directly with our Clients and form good working relationships.

. Senior Interior Designer - Opening for HCMC Office

We have an opportunity to join our Design Studio. This is a CREATIVE position and we are looking for a Senior Designer who is inspired by generating original ideas and considering design impact on multiple scales of workplace design. You will play a key role in advancing our design solutions while maintaining enthusiasm about achieving client’s business goals. It will be your job to lead the pre-schematic design process, working closely with clients and providing the direction necessary to team members to execute projects once they are won! 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design/create/present multiple projects under the guidance of the Team Leaders the design project team and other consultants to uncover integrated, innovative, and interdisciplinary solutions to design problems
  • Consult with clients to establish design concepts and parameters, including how space will function, budget considerations, and aesthetic preferences
  • Set the direction and tell the story of the design, working closely with Project Lead to refine and augment

Requirement

  • 5+ years of experience in workplace interior design or architecture

  • Strong presence in the market, active engagement in industry events
  • A portfolio of signature conceptual design work, including some large workplace transformation projects

In this role, Designer is an integral member of our Project Team, we will reply on your abilities and unmatched talent for conceptual design and storytelling in the early stages of our projects, partnering closely with senior design leaders to create enchanting, intuitive, effective, one-of-a-kind design solutions that win clients’ business! As the project moves into design development, you will support the Senior Designer in the development of design solutions and creation of 3D visualization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the story of the design and work closely with senior designer to refine and augment
  • Able and excited to create design materials
  • Generate conceptual designs using a variety of graphic techniques, including hand-drawn and computer-generated visuals, and 3D visualization
  • Prepare written specifications, working drawings, and construction documents, including verification that designs meet applicable building codes where necessary
  • Collaborate and establish trust between the project team, client and other project stakeholders
  • Problem-solving project design issues and applying inventive solutions that satisfy design issues and make clients happy

Requirement

  • 5+ years of work experience contributing to workplace interior design projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Design or others related field
  • Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), InDesign
  • Skilled in executing detailed working drawings
  • Exceptional organizational skills and experience effectively contributing to multiple projects at the same time
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal

Job Description

  • Lên kế hoạch concept thông qua nghiên cứu thông tin các dự án thiết kế của công ty..
  • Chịu trách nhiệm thiết kế, quản lý và phát triển về mặt mỹ thuật các sản phẩm thiết kế của công ty.
  • Cụ thể hóa ý tưởng bằng hình ảnh và các proposal dựa theo yêu cầu của từng dự án.
  • Thiết kế các ấn phẩm quảng cáo trên kênh digital marketing (website, facebook…) như banner flash, popup, email template, giao diện website/ứng dụng v.v…Sử dụng màu sắc và bố cục thích hợp cho từng hình ảnh.
  • Thiết kế, quản lý hệ thống nhận dạng thương hiệu của công ty.
  • Báo cáo công việc trực tiếp cho trưởng phòng thiết kế.

Job Requirement

  • Thành thạo các phần mềm thiết kế như Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, Adobe Premier, Deamweaver
  • Có khả năng thể hiện bằng hình ảnh các ý tưởng truyền thông
  • Có kiến thức về marketing là lợi thế.
  • Sáng tạo, chuyên nghiệp, giao tiếp tốt, có khả năng làm việc độc lập cũng như tinh thần làm việc theo nhóm; có kỹ năng quản lý thời gian và quản lý nhiều việc cùng lúc

  • Collaborate with Designer to deploy 3D rendering that are aesthetically and on schedule.
  • Prepare specifications, samples for Designer
  • Generate 3D designs using a variety of graphic techniques, computer-generated visuals, and 3D visualization
  • Monitor and control activities affecting the project’s 3D design documents
  • Coordinate with 2D designer to provide all input information for drawings
  • Collaborate and establish trust between the project team
  • Problem-solving project design issues and applying inventive solutions that satisfy design issues and make clients happy

Requirement

  • 2+ years of work experience contributing to workplace interior design projects
  • College’s degree in Architecture, Design or others related field

CÔNG VIỆC PHỤ TRÁCH

  • Phối hợp với Concept Designer hoặc Trưởng Bộ Phận để thực hiện các bản vẽ 2D đạt thẩm mỹ và tiến độ.

YÊU CẦU CÔNG VIỆC

  • Kinh nghiệm trên 3 năm ở vị trí thiết kế 2D
